Legos…one of the most fun toys that anyone can ever play with. They are colorful, portable, educational, and when you become an adult, they are expensive. Don’t get me wrong, they are still worth it, but have you looked at the prices of Lego lately?
With my husband’s architecture background, building and designing are in his blood, so I thought getting him one of the architecture Lego sets for his birthday was very appropriate. They are sold at Amazon, so it also gave me another excuse to buy books, which the book nerd in my adores. After searching through the different selections, (Space Needle, White House, Opera House) I decided that Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water was my favorite. $80+ later, I wrapped it up and was ready to give my husband his gift.
Needless to say, he loved it and took only 2 evenings to put it together, mainly by himself. I did help a little though…how can you resist Lego? It would have taken one, but sleep is something I don’t miss. 🙂
The finished result now is proudly displayed in our living room for all to see. Good thing it came with directions.
